ABOUT US

Meet Our Founders...

UNYIME OKOROSOBO

Unyime Okorosobo holds a Master's in International Education from the University of Manchester and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Bowen University. A third-generation educator, she has been in the classroom for more than 15 years and has served as Head of School at Accolade House since 2015. In that time, she has improved academic outcomes for her own students and those of teachers she oversees by more than 25% on average. She is a Microsoft Certified Educator and was named one of Nigeria's 50 Most Inspirational Teachers in 2023. She has trained thousands of educators on classroom technology integration and runs Strategic Maths, an initiative that helps teachers improve numeracy instruction.

At EduConnect, Unyime leads curriculum and pedagogy, bringing over a decade of classroom practice and school leadership to every student's learning experience.

GRACE AMOKA

Grace Amoka holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University and a Master's in Educational Technology, specializing in Instructional Design, from the University of Ilorin. With over nine years of experience as a teacher, coach, trainer, and education consultant, she has worked across K-12 systems to improve learning outcomes and build stronger educator communities. She has consulted for the World Bank and served as a programme coordinator at the African Leadership Academy and Teach for Nigeria, training and coaching over 400 educators across more than seven countries. She has also written a well-received book and founded two organisations that help teachers build more effective and sustainable careers.

At EduConnect, Grace leads operations, overseeing tutor quality, platform processes, and the systems that ensure every student receives a consistently excellent experience.
